Abbotsford International Airshow 2026
The Abbotsford International Airshow is Canada’s largest and most prestigious airshow, designated as Canada’s National Airshow by Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau in the 1970s. Held annually at Abbotsford International Airport on the second weekend of August, this three-day aviation festival showcases spectacular military and civilian aerial performances from Canada, the United States, and international participants. The 2026 event features the Canadian Forces Snowbirds as headliners alongside breathtaking aerobatic routines and demonstrations from world-class performers. Attendees can explore over 350,000 square feet of static aircraft displays, providing unique opportunities to meet air crews and examine various military and civilian aircraft up close. The airshow includes a Friday Twilight Show with fireworks and synchronized drone displays, plus daily flying performances from 9:30am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday. The event boasts the Fraser Valley’s largest food truck festival with 40+ vendors offering diverse cuisines, an Interactive S.T.E.M. Zone with flight simulators and educational activities, a Kids Zone with inflatable adventure playgrounds and crafts, autograph sessions with pilots and performers, and local craft beer and cider vendors. The airshow features 40+ exhibitors connecting attendees to local community groups, artisans, and businesses. With onsite camping available and premium viewing options including Runway Seating and Flight Club experiences, the event attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators annually.
