HiSat is developing a space-based hyperspectral intelligence technology that reveals material and chemical properties invisible to conventional imaging. Our patented architecture enables high-quality, high-SNR hyperspectral sensing from compact, cost-efficient satellite payloads. Space-based hyperspectral sensing enables HiSat to deliver actionable material intelligence across large and remote areas worldwide, including locations that are inaccessible or impractical to monitor using airborne or ground-based platforms. HiSat is a dual-use technology serving defense and national security applications, including target detection, detection of hazardous materials, concealment and camouflage detection, anomaly detection, and monitoring of unauthorized or disturbed land, alongside commercial applications including agriculture, mining, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure.
