NELI Microturbines addresses two critical challenges in modern warfare: First, the energy limitations of autonomous robotic platforms at the tactical edge, where current batteries simply cannot provide true autonomy. Second, the massive, unmet demand for small jet engines for unmanned aerial systems.

NELI solves both issues with a single core technology: 3D-printed metal micro-gas turbines. These turbines function as micro-generators that replace drone batteries, extending flight endurance by up to 4x, and as low-cost micro-jet engines. Our manufacturing process is off-grid, modular, and flexible – eliminating dependence on traditional supply chains and allows maximum flexibility and availability.

Developed over a decade at the Technion, our IP is backed by NATO, the U.S. Army, the Ministry of Energy, and the Israel Innovation Authority. We have already secured a $3M initial development order from the Israel Ministry of Defense.
