Sixdof Space

Sixdof Space has developed a patented optical tracking solution that enables precision landing with centimeter-level accuracy in both indoor and outdoor environments—even in direct sunlight. The system uses infrared beacons as highly reliable location references. A lightweight sensor mounted on a drone or robotic platform detects these beacons, whether they are positioned on the ground or facing the sensor. Advanced algorithms then calculate and provide full six degrees of freedom (6DOF) position and orientation data in real time, enabling autonomous landing, docking, and precise relative positioning.
