Based in Washington, D.C., and Tel Aviv, Israel, The CET Sandbox features exhibitions, technology showcases, collaborations, networking, research, and opportunities for engagement between U.S. and Israeli companies focused on national security and Critical and Emerging Technologies.

Cofounded by a group of venture capitalists, former government officials, defense contractors and national security experts, the CET Sandbox is a private-sector response to the 2022 Joint U.S.-Israel Statement on Launching Strategic High-Level Dialogue on Technology, which was tasked with establishing a U.S.-Israel technological partnership on Critical and Emerging Technologies. That dialogue has been supported by numerous initiatives, including provisions in the 2025 National Defense Authorization Act calling for “collaboration on emerging technologies” between the U.S. and Israel.
